| The Eurocity EC89 is leaving Innsbruck station to go over the Brenner alp transit route to Italy. Since December 2009 OBB (Austria) and DB (Germany) took over the Eurocity connection between Munich/Innsbruck and Verona/Milano from Italian operator Trenitalia. As OBB has not yet enough authorized ES 64 U2 - units for traveling in Italy the OBB/DB-team decided to hire ES 64 F4-freight engines from NORDCARGO. |
