Basle City is a halfcanton, where streetcars of BVB (Basler Verkehrsbetriebe / Basle City Public Transport Comp.) as well streetcars of Basle Country halfcanton BLT (Baselland Transport / Basle Country Transport Comp.) operate a combined network.
