A little story goes with this picture: As it is forbidden to stay at the plattform while not entering a train, the station master lady informed me about SNCF regulation and added, I could die to stay here and take picture because of fast trains. I declared, I'm now over 60 and still alive after hunderts of train pictures, so finally she gave in. But not without to remark, that I have to stay at the fence and not moving around. Okay, that was at least a compromise I was willing to accept. After the first train passing she came back and I thought it is over now, No, she wanted to tell me only, that she will ring the bell one minute before the train comes and that she will show me from office from what direction. That I call a real railfan service ! |
