Description:  Arth-Goldau is a important intersection on the north-south line (Gotthard, SBB) and the east-west line (SOB). The first station was built 1876 and at 1882 the Gotthard-line opened. It was 1897 followed by the east-west connection. The RABe 520 shows the swiss rr name in German (SBB), French (CFF) and Italian (FFS), 3 of 4 languages we have in our small country.

Title:  Swiss Regional Train - S2 Flühlen-Rotkreuz
Description:  The Class 520 is an EMU used since 2002 by the SBB. It is based on the Stadler Rail GTW 2/8 model. The drive module at the middle of the train is able to develop a power of 760 kW, making it able to travel at 115 kph / 71 mph. The Class 520 is slightly different from the standard Stadler GTW model: it has a greater capacity, a narrower body and an increased number of doors. On the left, the stand of the local 300 m / 325 yards shooting range, a common sight all over Switzerland.
